WHAT IS IN THE JAR? THE REALLY RANDOM POEM BY DIVISION IV
This is a collaborative poem written by Grade 5 and 6 students on the contents of a “jar.” This jar was a prop that was used to discuss hypothesis formation, as well as segue into a DIY cloud chamber activity for detection of sub atomic particles.

There is Adam Sandler leaping over the gigantic Twix bar, while Miley Cyrus is chilling in the lime green Jello pool in the jar.
There are rainbow coloured, splarkly kittens in the jar.
There is cotton candy in this jar and it tasted like a pink, fluffy cloud.
There are gummy bears in the jar.
There are candies in the jar.
There are gummy bears in the glass jar; they are the living (dead) zombies.
There are pikmin in the jar.
There are sour keys in the jar; they are so delicious.
There is a knife in the jar, a knife that can cut holes in the world to millions of others.
There are invisible cookie monsters sitting in the jar, and they are eating huge obese rainbow-coloured griffins that smell like cloves and red wine that have been barfed up by chocolate-loving unicorns.
I want everything imaginable to be in the jar (assassins, lakes, cheeseburgers, dinosaurs, elephants, fire, giraffes, hats, ice-cream, jokers, kangaroos, locusts, etc.).
There are Minions in the jar!! They are jumping in the jar (very happy)!
There are Oreos in the jar and they’re EPIC!
There are toxic waste candies in the jar; they are sour and taste really good!
There is air, and cars, oranges, and sugar in the jar.
There is a parallel universe in the jar filled with living candy.
There are chocolate chip cookies in the jar!
There are baby chimps in the jar!
There are some snails in the jar.
There is lava in the jar.
There are tiny, tiny baby kangaroos in the jar and they are doing jumping jacks (to get fit because they are fat)
There are whales in the jar and they are eating cookies.
There are baby unicorns in the jar, and they are white.
There are narwhals in the jar, and they are swimming in rainbow water.
Tons of French fries.
There are two super rainbow laser guns that turn people small.
There are candies in the jar.
There are gummy bears in the jar.
There are comets in the jar, and they are awesome.
